Alfred Petersen

Alfred Charles Petersen, 71, of Grove, Oklahoma died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Integris Grove General Hospital. He was born December 23, 1936 at Albany, Wisconsin to Clifton Petersen and Florence Kildow Petersen. He served 4 years with the United States Navy during the 1950's. He married Doris Jean Sergeant on December 19, 1959 at Monroe, Wisconsin. He worked as a Railroad Dispatcher for Illinois Central. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grove. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joann Busjahn. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Doris Jean Petersen of the home and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Alfred Charles Petersen will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Grove, Oklahoma with Dr. Richard Dayringer officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove. Visitation will be from 6-8p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
