Alfred J. Wildermuth "Red Wilmer" passed away March 22, 2009 at Rosewood Terrace in Vinita, Oklahoma, he was 85 years old. He was born September 2, 1923 in Salem, New Jersey to Jerome A. and Hannah Simpkins Wildermuth. Red worked in the kitchen at Eastern State Hospital in Vinita. He was a rodeo cowboy and was a member of the RCA and the PRCA and was the All Around Cowboy at the 1947 Rodeo in Chicago. The family includes; his daughter, Lynn Patton and husband Lloyd of Chelsea, son, Larry Wildermuth and wife Glena of Pryor; grandchildren, Tony Patton, Teri Patton of Bushyhead, Ok, Tim Patton of Chelsea, Ok, Chisholm Wildermuth of Phoenix, Az, Laramie, Cassidy and Remington Wildermuth of Pryor, OK, great-grandchild Cassandra Patton, great-grandson Layne Snowbarger of Adair, OK; sisters, Rowena M. Allen of New Castle, Delaware, June Milligan and Mary Dilks of Pennsville, New Jersey, also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death were his, parents, five sisters and two brothers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday evening, March 25, 2009 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel with Pastor Wade Markham officiating. Interment will follow at the Adair Cemetery.
