Alvis Davis, 28, a resident of Oolagah, Oklahoma passed away in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on February 21, 1983 in Jay, Oklahoma to Alvis Davis Sr. and Paula Wolfe. He worked as a brick layer for work and was a member of the United Keetowah Band of the Cherokee Nation. He was preceded in death by his mother Paula. Survivors include his father Alvis Davis Sr. and his wife Dawn of Sulpher Springs, Arkansas, his grandmother Maggie Tennison, Uncle Tommy Wolfe of Kenwood, Aunt Gwen Sanchez and her husband Jessie of Grove, one brother Justin Davis of Sulpher Springs, Arkansas sisters Christie Skaggs of Oolagah, Oklahoma, Stephanie Hiett of Anderson, Missouri, and Ashley Davis of Sulpher Springs. Along with a nephew Dillon Starkey and a host of Cousins. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Euwasha Baptist Church in Kenwood with the Reverend Johnny Summerfield officiating. Interment will follow at the Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Friends and family may send online condolences at www.honoringmemories.com.
