Amber Elyse Witt, 27 year old Ketchum resident, died Saturday April 11, 2009 at the St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa after an extended illness. Amber was born April 9, 1982 in Pryor to Stanford Gordon Witt and Debbie Sue (Offenbacker) Witt. She was a graduate of Ketchum High School. Amber had lived in Iowa since 2003, until she just recently moved back to Ketchum. She had worked at Hot Topic until her illness forced her to retire. Amber liked to play video games, going to movies, going to eat with friends, she also loved her dogs, Petunia, Dorito, Missy and Zorro. The family includes: her parents Stan and Debbie Witt of Langley, her life partner, Amanda J. Lawton of Ketchum, her sister, Ashley Perryman and husband Rafe of Haskell, grandparents, Ed and Nancy Offenbacker of Joplin, Stella Witt of Langley, Becky and Josh Garner of Jennings; special friends, Lynn Webber, Melissa Wheeler, Kacee Satterwhite and Schelle Reed; also numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Disney Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Daryl Lee officiating.
