Amy O. Delaney, 97 year old Tulsa resident, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was born December 28, 1913 near White Oak to Thomas Bittle Harp and Katie Ruth (Sensenbaugh) Harp. On July 17, 1946 Amy married Carroll Delaney in Vinita. They lived in Denver for 32 years where Amy worked as a sales person for Montaldo's Department Store. They then lived in California for a short time, then in the mid 1980's moved to Tulsa. Carroll preceded Amy in death on January 6, 2001. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. She resided at Woodland Terrace Retirement Community for several years, and in 2009 she represented them in the Ms. Senior Oklahoma Pageant. She recently resided at Emeritus Assisted Living. The family includes: her daughter Jan Rudolph and husband Richard of Martinez, California; sisters Dorothy Hough of Vinita and Betty Haynes of St. Louis, Missouri; brother Thomas H. "Buddie" Harp of Sandy, Utah; a grandson Ryan Rudolph and wife Amy of Gulfport, Mississippi; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, sisters Miriam Spence, Leah Lochrie, Rhoda Belle Shanahan, Mary Kathryn Gannaway, Naomi Foster, brothers Don S. Harp, Kenneth Harp, Milford Harp, Calvin Harp, Earl Harp and William Harp (infant). The family will receive friends at the Luginbuel Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, with Dr. Jim Miller officiating.
