Angela Light

Angela Joy (Walters) Light, 47 year old Nowata resident passed away Saturday, January 3, 2014, at her home in Nowata. She was born November 18, 1967 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Howard and Judith Kay (Cox) Walters. She attended Nowata Schools. She was a member of Nowata First Church of God. Angela was a caretaker with Home Health and enjoyed caring for others. She enjoyed fishing, working outdoors in the yard, and watching birds. She was married to Tom Rhinehart in November of 2000. Angela was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that loved cooking and caring for her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Angela in death are her parents Howard and Judith Walters, and a brother Richard Walters. Survivors include her husband Tom Rhinehart of the home, two sons, Brian Light and his wife Jessica, of Syracuse, New York, Daniel Light, of Nowata; step sons, Trent Rhinehart and wife Annie, of Vinita, Oklahoma, and Ryan Rhinehart, of Welch, Oklahoma; grandson Tyler Monroe Light, step grandchildren, Landon and Lane Rhinehart; many other relatives, as well as a host of friends. Funeral services for Angela will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2014, at the First Church of God, in Nowata, with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating. Interment will follow at Oglesby Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
