Benjamin Funeral Service - Nowata, Oklahoma.............................. Funeral services for Anita Jane Egermeier are 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Keith Egermeier officiating. Interment will follow at Ball Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Anita Jane Egermeier passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at her home in Delaware. She was born August 11, 1953 in Ventura, CA to Sam and Etta Harrison. When she was sixteen her parents moved to Oklahoma where she attended school at Delaware and Alluwe in Nowata County. In 1971 she married Steve Egermeier. They spent most of their marriage in Childers where they raised three sons. Anita liked to cook, can fruit and vegetables, and make jelly. She worked for eleven years at the Coffeyville Doctor's Clinic. Anita liked people and liked to talk to them. Anita loved life, her children, grandchildren, fishing, and being outdoors but I think what she loved most was Steve. She always wanted to please him. They teased, cut up, and laughed every day. Anita was a Christian and I know she is in heaven now. No pain, her beautiful dark hair naturally wavey on her head, her beautiful face is all back like God made her. She was a beautiful woman. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Steve of the home; three sons, Brian Dale, Kevin Lee, Eric Paul; a brother, Tom Harrison of Furtuna, CA; two sisters, Bertha Lanini of Ugene, OR, Ronda Hudson of Branson, MO., fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nita liked to joke, tease, and have fun. She could be outspoken and tell it like it was. She had a temper but got over it real quick. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior years ago. She never worried about anything and figured whatever was going to happen would happen and we couldn't do anything to change it. She would ask us not to remember her when she lost her hair and couldn't walk and would fall. Instead, remember her with joy and laughter or don't remember her at all. Anita liked the 23rd Psalms and John 3:16. Her favorite song was "I Love How You Love Me."
