Ann Proulx

Ann L. Proulx of Jay, OK., died Sunday March 4, 2007 at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. She was 78. Ann was born February 5, 1929 to George and Helen (Morrisey) at Medford, Massachusetts. Ann spent eighteen years as the secretary of the GranTara Property Owners Association in Cleora, Oklahoma. She loved her garden, but not as much as she loved her family. She also loved animals, owning horses and dogs throughout her life. She was particularly fond of Boxer dogs. She and her husband Gerard operated a boarding stable in Andover, Mass., and at one time owned and/or boarded over one hundred horses. Her husband Gerard preceded her in death in 1994. Survivors include two children, Michael Proulx and his wife Janice of Jay, Oklahoma; Dennis John Proulx and his wife Gloria Jean of Raymond, New Hampshire. Her grandchildren, Hannah Ann Proulx and Rachael Destiny Proulx also survive. The family has selected cremation and there are no local services planned at this time.
