Anna Martin

Anna "Annie" Belle Martin, 87, of Nowata passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Anna was born to Fred E. and Syble (Billups) McQueen on February 4, 1924, in Kansas. Annie was educated in the Lenapah school system. She had many hobbies she loved to do including embroidery and sewing. Annie also liked gardening and taking care of her houseplants. Mrs. Martin is survived by a son, Fred Clayton, a daughter, Lula Mae Martin, two sisters, Mary Baker, Effie Crow and three grandchildren. Annie is preceded in death by her parents, an uncle Roy Billups, and one son Bobby Martin. Graveside services for Mrs. Martin will be Friday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the Childers Cemetery with Pastor Dean Bridges officiating. Honorary casket bearers are Henry Baker and Ted Miller.
