Annie Oufe Sr

Annie M. Sroufe, age 86, a resident Owasso, OK formerly of Bartlesville died Monday, November 27, 2006 at Homestead of Owasso Care Center. She was born June 6, 1920 in Arp, Texas the daughter of Cameron McWhirter and Maybell Holden McWhirter. Anne was married to Ralph Sroufe in 1946 in Wichita, KS while he was employed at the bomber plant in Wichita, shortly thereafter they moved to the Bartlesville area where they lived until she relocated to Owasso till her death. Annie was a member of the Tuxedo Assembly of God in Bartlesville for many years She is survived by a son, Clinton Sroufe of Collinsville, OK, a daughter, Janice Gardner of Bartlesville, OK, six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ralph Sroufe, her parents, two brothers, Troy Lee and Herman McWhirter. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the Neekamp - Luginbuel Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Hanchett officiating with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Scott Sroufe, Steve Hanchett, Austin Chase, Dustin Gardner, Brian Czaja and Matt Mason. Services are under the direction of Neekamp -Luginbuel Funeral home.
