Anthony Lee Singleton

Anthony “Tony” Singleton, a long-time resident of Bartlesville, OK, passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 86. Tony is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Shirley Singleton and his brother Melvin.  He is survived by his wife, Joan; children Jay, Nathan, Letitia, Ethan, and Timothy; his cherished grandchildren; his sister Yvonne; and his brother Ralph.

Born and raised in Southern Louisiana, Tony served in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command from 1958 to 1962.  After his time in the Air Force, he attended Texas A&M University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.  For the next 52 years, Tony worked as a Professional Engineer primarily in the oil and gas industry.  His profession allowed him to pursue his passion for travel, taking him around the world. A passion he shared with his family.

 The only thing Tony loved more than travel was his family, those related to him and those he adopted or who adopted him along the way.  He was a role model and “dad” to many.  His memorial service will be held July 13, 2024, at his home church of Grace Community Church in Bartlesville, OK.
