April Russell

April Dawn Russell, 38 died Monday February 4, 2013 at her home in Chandler, OK following a long courageous battle with cancer. April was born July 7, 1974 in Vinita to Kenneth M. and Lea F. Russell. April was raised and educated at Vinita, graduating Vinita High School in the class of 1992 and attended OSU at Stillwater. April delighted in spending time in the company of her friends and family, enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. She was always one to be accepting, supportive and encouraging. Her family and life longtime friends will greatly miss her. She was preceded in death by her mother; her grandparents, Herbert and Mavis Russell and Don and Claire Brammer; uncle, Michael McLaughlin and her beloved dog, Iggy. She is survived by her sisters, Brandy Gragg and Sarah Brammer, her father, Kenneth Russell, step parents, Doug and Janelle Brammer, grandmother Laverne Barber; aunts Patricia McLaughlin, Marsha and her husband Joseph Faulkner, Marcia and her husband Gerald Locke, ; niece Amber Norton; best friends, Mona Kroeker and Shelly Dixon and numerous other family and friends Graveside committal services will be held Saturday February 9, 2013 at Carselowey Cemetery at Carselowey OK.
