Argie Hayes

Former Vinita resident, Argie Mae Hayes, age 87 passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013. Argie was born in Francis, OK on July 25, 1926 to Roy and Elizabeth Cable. In January 1951 she was united in marriage to Edward Hayes. She was a long time employee of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and the Vinita Senior Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church before moving to Tulsa and later Texas. Survivors include her grandson Christopher Hayes of Wylie Texas and great granddaughter Ally Hayes. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed Hayes, son Don Hayes, one sister, and one brother. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Henry Haynes officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
