Worley-Luginbuel Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Arthur Eugene Bonine II, Gene to all his friends and family, exchanged this life for eternal life on June 23, 2016 in Grove, OK. Gene was born on November 11, 1966 in Parsons, Ks to Arthur and Joyce. His family lived just outside of Galesburg, KS and he attended elementary school there. As a teen Gene was often found helping area farmers with chores, working livestock, and cutting hay. Gene graduated from High School in Erie, KS he also attended Labette Community College in Parsons, KS and Pittsburg State University where he studied drafting. Gene enjoyed woodworking. He was very talented and made numerous gifts for family and friends. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed collecting guns. Gene was a member of the First Christian Church in Grove and a vital member of several of the ministries at the Church. Gene helped with First Christian's men's ministry, helping widows with small repairs and praying for them. He also ran sound for the Praise Band, weddings, and funerals. Gene also ran sound for many other groups that used the church building. He was a wonderful help to the Good to Go club, helping them with their video and sound and he even moved tables and chairs for them. Gene loved helping others, even in death he was able to help many as an organ donor. He loved his family very much, he was especially proud to be an uncle and God-parent to his niece and nephew. Gene was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Eugene Bonine I and stepfather Albert A. Cook. Gene is survived by his mother Joyce Cook; his brother Travis and wife Lucinda, their children Elana and Tallon; several Aunts: Barbara Sharp, and husband Max; Mildred Cameron; Esther Bonine and husband Tim Baldwin; Patricia Bonine and fiancé Sheldon Wheaton; one Uncle: Phillip Bonine and wife Mary; several cousins; and numerous other family members and friends. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at 10:00 am at the First Christian Church in Grove, OK. Pastor Ron Riley will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gene's honor to the Building Fund at the First Christian Church, Grove, OK
