Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK 74344. B. Don Johnson went to be with his Lord on October 3, 2015 at his home in Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 87. He was married to his sweetie, Mary Lou Pollock, for 66 wonderful years. They raised their family in Carnegie, Oklahoma, then retired and moved to Grove. He enjoyed throughout his life the outdoors, with fishing, hunting and boating. B. Don loved the Lord and served Him faithfully through The Gideons International, serving as International President from 1989 to 1992. He previously served in many leadership positions since joining The Gideons in 1960 and has traveled the world spreading God's Word. Through God's leadership, Don led in opening countries to the ministry throughout the world, training local Gideon leaders and membership in over 85 countries. Don was passionate about sharing the Gospel, witnessing for the Lord, and taking the opportunity to share Jesus with those crossing his path. B. Don is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, one son, Larry Johnson and his wife Debbie of Carnegie, two daughters, Luanne Triplett and her husband Roy of Tulsa, and Sherri Wood and her husband Victor of Choctaw, as well as seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A celebration service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 8 at 1st Baptist Church in Grove. In lieu of flowers, B. Don requested that Bibles be given In Memory through the GideonCard Bible Program.
