Barbara Barnes

Mrs. Barbara A. Barnes, 71, of Wellington, Kansas, loving mother, grandmother and sister, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. Barbara was born the daughter of Frank and Nora (Nightingale) Warehime on October 15, 1939 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. On July 1, 1960, Barbara and Jack D. Barnes were united in marriage in Neosho, Missouri. In July of 2010, they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Jack Barnes of Wellington, Kansas; daughters, Tracey Allen and her husband, Michael, of White Oak, Texas, Lori Lamirand and her husband, Randy, of Longview, Texas, Carrie Folmar and her husband, Larry, of Edna, Texas, Julie Moore and her husband, Dean Villeneuve, of High Point, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Lester Warehime of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Joyce O'Neal of Dewey, Oklahoma; brother, Gary Warehime of Okesa, Oklahoma; and sister, Linda Corbett of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Louise Bush. Visitation will be held at Day Funeral Home in Wellington, Kansas from 1-8 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2011, with the family present from 6-8 PM.
