Barbara Cummings

Barbara Cummings, 80, a lifetime resident of the Grove area passed away at Integris Grove General Hospital on November 1, 2011. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Peoria, Oklahoma to Ralph Lee and Marie (McDermit) Crabtree. She married Donald Edward Cummings on August 25, 1947 in Neosho, Missouri. Barbara was the true sense of a homemaker and loved her family. Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, a brother Kenneth Crabtree and one great grandchild Katilyn Cummings. Survivors include her children Ralph Edward Cummings, Donna Sue Sawyer, Deloris Marie Vanderpool all of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and Judith Ann Sparkman of Grove, three sisters Helen Blaylock of Fairland, Gracie Smith of Kansas City, Missouri and Coreta Robins of Pinehurst, Idaho, along with eighteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren and one due in May. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbinbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Council House Church in Grove. Interment will follow in the Council House Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
