Barbara Johnson Harrison, 80 year old Vinita resident, passed away on June 21, 2016 in Vinita. She was born on September 13, 1935 in Merced, California to Andrew and Callie Stephens, she was raised by Nora and Bud Robertson. Barbara was a graduate of Vinita High School. She married Roy Harrison on March 18, 1963, he preceded her in death in 2013. Barbara had worked as a CNA and a cook at restaurant. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita and a member of Trinity's Women's Missionary Union. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Roy, and a nephew, Russell Sullivan of Chouteau. The family includes: five nephews, Dave Harrison of Carson City, NV, Ed Sullivan of Big Cabin, Reynold and Roy Peterson of Spencer, IA, Rodney Sullivan of Adair; four nieces, Kathie Harrison of Rancho Cucamongo, CA, Christine Harrison of Van Nuys, CA, Debbie (Sullivan) Barnes of Pryor, Chalanne Sullivan of Big Cabin; great-nephews, Derrick Sullivan of Big Cabin, Bailey Sullivan of Chouteau, Chris Barnes of Pryor; great-nieces, Meagan Bartley of Vinita, Kristy Anderson of Pryor, Chelsea Sullivan of Broken Arrow, Dani Sullivan of Adair; many great-great nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Drucilla Heltzel of Vinita. The visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the Big Cabin Cemetery, with Pastor Will Busch officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Friends may give to the Owasso Baptist Boys Home. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
