Bernice Irene Woodall, age 68, a resident of Cleora died Tuesday September 3, 2008 at her home. She was born August 20, 1940 in Bedford, Iowa, the daughter of Gaylord J. Gardner and Marie Jane Oziah Gardner where she was reared and educated in Lamoni, Iowa. She owned and operated the Dairy Queen and A& W Root Beer restaurant in Bethany, MO. In the early eighties she moved to Creston Iowa where she attended Nurses training and graduated as a licensed practical nurse. Bernice and Arlis "Woody" Woodall were united in marriage in Halls, MO on August 19, 1985 and moved to the Vinita area in 1982 from Martinsville, MO. She worked as a nurse at Eastern State Hospital for many years and was a special person that had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them and her family. She attended the Church on the Lake and enjoyed painting, fishing, flower gardening and her big fish pond. Bernice leaves behind her husband Arlis "Woody" Woodall of the home, a son, Carroll E. "Mac" Mc Campbell of Lititz, PA, brothers Robert Gardner, of Halfway, MO, James Gardner of Arkansas City, KS, Clarence Gardner of Yelm, WA, Everett Gardner of Grove, OK, three sisters, Opal Barth of Lamoni, IA and Doris Geeding of Nowata, OK, Lois Manchester of Stillwater, OK, three grandchildren and two great grand children former husband Ralph G. Mc Campbell brothers in law, Pud Woodall of Vinita, OK and Cecil Woodall of Santa Fe, NM and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday September 6, 2008 at the Church of the Lake in Ketchum at 12:00 Noon, Pastor Larry Hendren will officiate. Interment to follow in Carselowey Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita.
