Berta Bell

Berta Lou Bell, 77-year-old Bartlesville resident, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Forrest Manor Nursing Home in Dewey. Mrs. Bell was born March 20, 1932 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Bert Stewart and Laura Ayres-Stewart. She married the love of her life, Perry Bell on July 3, 1954 in Bartlesville. Mrs. Bell worked as a medication aide in a nursing home for over 30 years. She loved her work and spending time with her husband. Mrs. Bell was an active member of the Baptist Temple. In her spare time, she loved to read and watch classic movies on television. Mrs. Bell also had a passion for collecting dolls with antique Victorian clothing. Mrs. Bell is survived by sons, Gary Bell and his wife Rose of Bartlesville, Perry Bell, Jr. of Derby, Kansas, and Jimmy Bell of Derby, Kansas; by one daughter, Tawny McLeod of Dewey; by a sister-in-law, Star Graham of Bartlesville; by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and by a host of other family and friends.
