ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK - Bette Jane Graham, 87, longtime Bartlesville resident, went home to be with Our Lord, Saturday, April 2, 2016. Bette was born December 17, 1928 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Dr. Auguie and Avo (Edmonds) Henry. She grew up in McAlester and graduated from Oklahoma A&M, after attending Oklahoma Baptist University for two years. On May 6, 1950, Bette married Alan Graham in Oklahoma City and made their home in Bartlesville, where Alan worked as a funeral director, before buying and becoming sole owner of Neekamp Funeral Home in 1976. She proudly worked with her husband and served families until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Women's Missionary Union, Intercessory Prayer and active in her PEO sisterhood, Chapter ED. Bette also served in Pilot Club, Lions Tamers, Nellie Johnstone Questors and many other clubs. Bette was a giving, loving wife, mother, aunt and enjoyed antiquing with her daughter and playing with the poodle, "Little Bits". Her church, serving the community and heart for missions was her passion - especially Africa and children. She leaves behind her daughter, Linda Kay Vineyard and her husband, Wayne; three nephews from New Mexico, Auguie Henry, III, Roger Henry and Patrick Henry and a brother-in-law, Donald Graham and his wife, Trudy of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was blessed by many friends, especially Margaret Johnson, Jan and Lawrence Wilkie and Kenton Kersting, Special Missionary to China, Laos and Lebanon. Bette was preceded in death by her husband, Alan in 2005. Visitation will be noon - 8pm, Monday and 9 am- 8 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday. Family will receive guests at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home 6-8 p.m., Tuesday night. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Bartlesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Stephen Colaw officiating. Service and interment are under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
