Bettie Parman

Bettie F. Parman, age 79, died on August 27, 2011 at St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bettie was the daughter of James F. and Mattie M. (Griggs) Prather. She was born on August 14, 1932 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was married to William R. Parman who preceded Bettie in death. Before retiring, Bettie worked as an accountant. She enjoyed oil painting, gardening and playing bingo. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her granddaughter Bobbie. She is survived by her two daughters Viki Owens and Scherrie Fortune, two grandchildren Chrystal and Tim, also blessed with three great-grandchildren Deja, Dalton, and M.J. A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma.
