Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK 918-253-3222. Betty Sue Blackbear passed away two days before her 65th birthday on August 13, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Betty was the daughter of Leland and Maxine (Budder) Stick. She was born on August 15, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Richard Blackbear in Miami, Oklahoma in 1981. Betty enjoyed arts and crafts including bead working, quilting and making dolls. She loved camping, fishing and long drives. Betty was always taking care of her grandchildren, she loved and adored all of them Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters Shirley Wolfe and Deloris Gilley. She is survived by her four children; Cara Hawley and partner David Jumper of Spavinaw, OK, Laverna Stapleton of Salina, OK, Elisha Blackbear of Eucha, OK, and Forrest Blackbear and his wife Jennifer of Tahlequah, OK. Betty is also survived by her brother Leonard Stick and her three sisters Norma O'Field and her husband Tom, Lena Stick, and Stephanie Stick and her husband Bryant Smith all of Eucha, Oklahoma. Betty was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 Tuesday, August 18, 2105 at Steeley Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Pritchett officiating. Betty will be laid to rest in Round Springs Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8PM, Monday, August 17, 2015 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, OK.
