Betty Nicholson

Betty Jane Nicholson, age 86 of Vinita, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013. Betty was born in Afton on February 10, 1926 to Thomas and Lula (Creed) Nicholson. She was a graduate of Afton High School in 1945. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vinita. Betty always had a smile on her face, enjoyed spending time with family, and loved to read the Bible, pray, and talk with others about the Bible. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Marshall, her parents, and brother Jasper Nicholson. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Vinita with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Afton.
