Betty Parman

Betty Dean Parman, eighty one year old Adair resident died Monday August 30, 2010 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born October 15, 1928 in Vilonia, Arkansas the daughter of David Davis and Vera Ferguson Davis. Betty and Ralph Parman were married on August 30, 1975 and moved to the Adair area in 1997from Boyceville, WI. Betty and Ralph were Truck Drivers and drove as a team for ten years until their retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Greenbrier Free Will Baptist Church and she enjoyed making crafts, sewing, quilting and gardening. Betty leaves behind her husband Ralph of the home, one daughter Karen Snyder of Menomonie, WI, Grand son, David Olson, great grandson Steven Olson, great grand daughter Alexis Snyder, a foster daughter Lisa McIntyre, and children, Bodean, Chad and Jacob and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, one grandson, Eugene Snyder. A memorial service will be Friday September 3, 2010 at Greenbrier Free Will Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Breeden officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church before services. A committal will be held in Big Cabin Cemetery following the services, under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
