Interment will follow at Martin Cemetery in Childers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Betty Jo Parrett, 81, of Childers, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her home. She was born November 8, 1934 in Childers to Harvey and Mae Hana (Parsley) Price. She attended and graduated from Childers High School. On December 20, 1952 she married Charles Adrain Parrett in Vinita, Oklahoma. She attended Armstrong Church. Betty enjoyed traveling the rodeo circuit with Charles and going to Wyoming to visit her sister. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She loved caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was the love of her life. Betty had a special place in her heart for her husband and family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mae Hana, her husband, Charles; five siblings, Virgil Price, Grace Hicks, Helen Briggs, Hildred Gilpin, Harvey Allen Price and three nieces and nephews. She is survived by three children, Vickie Casey and husband Carl Alan of Nowata, Brenda Waltman and husband Dee of Nowata, Charlie Parrett and wife Shawna of Nowata; nine grandchildren, Andrew Parrett, Charee McGovern, Shay McGovern, Chandee Hawk, Nicole Langley, Sarah Kline, Jake Waltman, Emilee Parrett, Madison Parrett, eighteen great grandchildren, and seventeen nieces and nephews.
