Betty Robertson

Betty Jean Robertson, age 87, and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, March 16, at her home. Betty Jean Robertson was born on March 9, 1926 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Roy Louis Robertson and Virginia Brown Robertson. She was raised and received her education in the Bartlesville Public School system where she received her formal education. She soon became employed with Phillips Petroleum Company as a mail clerk. She was a loyal employee for 34 years before retiring. Betty Jean attended First United Methodist Church in Bartlesville. After retiring, she volunteered at the Bartlesville Boys Club and the Bartlesville YMCA. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her good friend and caregiver, Tammy Lathem, of Dewey, Oklahoma; and her good friends, Dean and Ruth Coast. In lieu of flowers, Betty Jean has requested donations may be made to Bartlesville Boys and Girls Club, 401 S. Seminole Ave., Bartlesville, OK 74003 or the Bartlesville YMCA, 101 N.E.
