BENJAMIN FUNERAL SERVICE, NOWATA, OK (918)273-2700***Beverly Jo Corlett Born in Muskogee, OK on September 2, 1949 to Gerald Eugene and Josephine Shue. She and her older brother Ronnie grew up in Owasso where her parents ran and owned the Food Palace where her dad was a butcher. They moved to Buena Park, California where she continued school and graduated from John F. Kennedy High in 1967. Two years later she returned back to Owasso. For a short time as a teenager she wanted to be an Airline Stewardess but no dreams were bigger or more important than those she had since she was a child, she always knew she wanted to be a mom, which she did and did well. She mothered and raised five children. Beverly worked many jobs throughout her life including working along side her husband Danny on the farm doing day-to-day operations ranging from mowing hay, farming, harvesting crops, and owning a fertilizer business. All the while keeping up with everything that goes along with being a mom and wife. Danny and Beverly were truly best friends and married for over 36 years. She enjoyed many things throughout her life. Her daddy taught her woodworking and her mom taught her how to sew. She liked yard work, scrap booking, and anything crafty. She was extremely talented and could make anything she set her mind to. After grandbabies came they were here most treasured hobby and pass time. They were the light of her life and she was the light of theirs. She is survived by the love of her life Danny Corlett. Her 5 Children: Shane Battenfield and wife Kristen of Granbury, TX Aimee Drumheller and husband Matthew of Talala, OK Isaac Doshier and girlfriend Leesa of Broken Arrow, OK Sarah Highsmith and husband Cory of Talala, OK Daniel Corlett and wife Sarah of Talala, OK Her 9 Grandchildren, who were very dear to her: Heather and fiancé Trevor Hampton Jaydn Battenfield Andrew Blagg and wife Jessica Cole Drumheller Gavin and Drake Highsmith Collins, Letti, and Reagan Corlett She was preceded in death by: Father, Gerald Eugene ‘Gene' Shue Mother, Josephine ‘Jo' Schmidtberger Shue Brother, Ronald Eugene ‘Ronnie' Shue
