Beverly Sutton was born Beverly Louella Gaisford in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Irvin and Ruby (Dunihoo) Gaisford on February 11, 1950. She attended school in Shattuck and graduated in 1968. She then attended Beech's Beauty College and became an outstanding beautician. On June 7th, 1969 Beverly married her high school sweetheart, Larry Sutton. Together they raised three sons; Garrett Alan, Gentry Arnel, and Grayson Aaron. They made their home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Dimmitt, Texas, Shattuck, Oklahoma, Stafford, Kansas and in 1991 they moved to Craig County, Oklahoma, where they still reside. Beverly went to be with Jesus on August 26, 2014. Beverly and Larry were baptized into Christ in 1981 in Higgins, Texas. She was an active member of the Church of Christ until her passing. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Irvin Gaisford, and a brother, Clifford Gaisford both of Shattuck. She is survived by her husband Larry Sutton of the home, their son, Garrett of Afton, Oklahoma, and his daughter McKenzie of Fairland, Oklahoma, their son Gentry of Hutchison, Kansas and his daughters, Montana and Keli of Roland, Oklahoma, their son Grayson and wife Brittany and their daughter Tenley and son Bentley of Bluejacket, Oklahoma; Beverly's mother, Ruby Gaisford of Shattuck, Oklahoma; a brother, Dennis and wife Lola Faye Gaisford of Gage, Oklahoma and their children, Meta Fitz and husband Joe and daughters Ariel and Jade of Shattuck, Oklahoma, Heath and wife Nicki and daughter Micayla and son Charles of Gage, Oklahoma, and Trina King and husband Jon, their sons, Conrad and Emitt of Shattuck, Sister in-law, Angie Gaisford and sons Levi and daughter Mackenzie of Shattuck, Tyler of Shattuck, Ross and wife Brittany and their daughter Alexis of Harmon, Oklahoma, and Lincoln of Shattuck. Beverly was a great wife to her husband, mother to her sons, and she was a friend to so many. She lived an exemplary life and was loved dearly by all who knew her. Heaven is a better place now with her there and we here on earth feel the loss but rejoice with her, for her battle with cancer is over forever. The family will receive friends for 6-8 pm on Thursday, August 28th at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 29th at 2:00 pm at the Church of Christ west of Vinita, with Pastor Marshall Miller officiating. The burial will be held on Saturday, August 30th at 11:00 am at the Shattuck Cemetery in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
