Bill Lloyd Hendricks, Sr. 84 year old Ketchum resident, died Tuesday January 1, 2013 at his home. He was born March 15, 1928 in Ketchum to William Charles Hendricks and Tena (Skinner) Hendricks Woolery. Bill worked on a harvest crew in his early life during the summers. He was united in marriage to Lois Arlene Caldwell on December 19, 1953 in Pawhuska. They made their home in Bartlesville, then in 1957 moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bill was a sheet metal worker for a heating and plumbing company. They moved back to the Ketchum area in 1989 and owned and operated the Country Corner Convenience Store near Ketchum, until retiring in 1995. Bill enjoyed fishing, flying his Cessna 175 and coming to Oklahoma to work on the farm with his step-father Buck Woolery and his mother Tena. Bill was a member of the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, a son, Terry Lee Hendricks, sister, Margie Henwood and half- brother Charles Hendricks. The family includes: his wife Lois Arlene Hendricks of the home; sons, Bill Lloyd Hendricks, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Ricky Leon Hendricks of Tulsa; sister, Marcine Langloys of Keene, Texas; half - sisters, Dee and DeAnna, half-brothers Dennis and Carl Hendricks; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The memorial service for Bill Hendricks will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church, with Pastors, John Moyer, Jerry Mayes and Rick Mercer officiating.
