Bill Jamison, 74, died peacefully after long suffering pain from natural causes Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Bartlesville, OK. Bill was born July 19, 1947, in Coffeyville, KS to Harry and Irene Jamison.
Bill enjoyed the view overlooking the valley at his home. He loved his furry companions especially his soul dog “Sketch”. He loved music, history, debates, and keeping things stirred up in person and on Facebook.
He was a man of strong conviction and opinions. He had a never-ending supply of life stories and was always willing to share them. He was brutally honest, faithful, loyal, and resourceful. To know him was to love him or hate him. He was a big man with a big personality and a big heart. The only thing bigger is his absence. He won’t be soon forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Harry and Irene Jamison, and an infant brother, Allen Wayne.
He is survived by his wife of 42 yrs; Laurie J. (Bernaix) Jamison, sons; H. Ross Jamison IV of Neodosha, KS, Dennis Jamison of Nevada, Missouri, brother; Clayton R. Jamison of Andover, KS, 5 grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on June 12, at Woolaroc, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Bill was a tissue donor, in lieu of flowers please consider becoming an organ tissue donor. Services have been entrusted to Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. Online condolences can be left at
