Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home (918) 786-2261 ~ Billie B Morris was born in Amarillo, Texas on December 3, 1932 to Fred and Estal Morris. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 15, 2017. He is preceeded in death by his father, mother, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, a granddaughter and son-in-law. Billie proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1959. During that time he served as a medic in the Korean Conflict. He married Alzona Countryman on July 4, 1956.They began their life together in Del Rio, Texas where he was stationed. He trained as an air traffic controller and after his discharge he was assigned to the FAA in Albuquerque, NM. He retired in 1974 and moved his family to the Grand Lake area where he settled in Grove. After retirement he enjoyed woodworking, NASCAR, beach combing and travelling to all 50 states. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his cats. He became know in the area as a handyman and was helpful to friends and strangers alike. He attended New Hope Baptist Church in Jay. Billie is survived by his wife Alzona of 61 years, his daughter Tena and husband Garry Youngblood of Jay, son Billy and wife Becky of Choctaw, daughter Terri and husband Phil Anderson of Mesquite, Texas, grandchildren Jennifer Veith, Benjamin Youngblood, Elijah Black, Braden Morris and wife Victoria, Baylor Morris and fiance Shelby and great grandchildren Harley Suter, Bella and Leah Youngblood and Levi Morris. VIsitation will be held Wednesday April 19 fom 6:00 -8:30pm with services held Thursday April 20 at 2:00pm. Services conducted by Pastor James Bryant at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home, 711 S Main St Grove, Ok. Interment to follow at Ballard Cemetery in Bernice
