ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK - Billy "Bill" Joe Farrow, age 85, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2016 in the Journey Home Hospice House in Bartlesville. Billy "Bill" Joe Farrow was born on January 29, 1931 in Mannford Oklahoma. He was the son of Clarence and Ollie (Sutton) Farrow. He grew up and attended school in Mannford. Bill worked in the oil fields and manufacturing until he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951. Bill served his country honorably and was discharged in 1954. He worked in the Air Craft industry until 1955, at which time he moved back to Oklahoma and began working in the oilfield and Reda Pump. May 1, 1961 Bill took a job with the U.S. Postal Service where he worked until his retirement on October 31, 1990. Bill and Billy Jean (Chapman) Tayrien were united in marriage at Yuma Arizona on November 24, 1956. After Billy Jean passed away, Bill married Clara Jo Horn in 2001. Bill was a member of the American Postal Workers Union and the American Legion Post 105. Survivors include his wife Clara; three sons, Wayne Chapman and his wife, Cori, of Bartlesville; Mark Farrow and his wife Ann, of Tulsa, OK; Bradley Farrow and his wife Susan, of Broken Arrow; one daughter Denise Pfeiff and her husband Wil of Bartlesville; 8 grandchildren, Tiffany Frye, Tara Hoback, Jake Farrow, Pete Farrow, Sam Farrow, Bo Farrow, Anna Farrow, Brian Pfeiff; six great grandchildren, Tyler Chapman, Sam Hoback. Addysen Hoback, Jack Hoback, Logan Pfeiff, Mitchell Pfeiff; five brothers, Bud, Darrell, Donald, Jessie, and Jimmy Farrow; three sisters, Twila Young, Shirley Zickefoose, and Patricia Riley; and one cousin Brenda Tucker and her husband Eddie. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Billy Jean; and two brothers, Lloyd and Alvin Farrow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Bill's name should be made to the Journey Home Hospice House 3406 SE Kentucky St. Bartlesville, OK 74006. Services for Bill will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home Rev. Tom Cox will officiate.
