Billy Wells Jr.

Billy Eugene Wells, Jr. 61 year old Vinita resident, passed away Saturday afternoon October 8, 2011, in Vinita. He was born February 14, 1950 in Vinita, to Billy Eugene Wells, Sr. and Mary Frances (Hull) Wells. Billy attended Vinita Schools and later went into the United States Army. While in the Army he was stationed in Germany. Billy married Sue Thompson in November of 1969, she preceded him in death on August 23, 2011. He was currently the manager of the Dollar General Store in Langley. The family includes: his sons, Chad Wells and wife Jalene of Vinita, Trevor Wells and wife Sheryl of Perkins; grandchildren, ShyAnne Well, Joshua Burch, Bryce Wells, Baylee Wells and Necia Majcher; sisters, Brenda Hall of Greensboro, North Carolina, Mary Ann Livingston and companion, Jerry "Boo" Massey of Weatherford, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding him in death were his wife, parents, and infant brother, Johnny Lee Wells. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Luginbuel Chapel in Vinita. The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel, with Pastor Steve Holland officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Casket bearers will be: Chris, Nick, and Jeremy Thompson, Jeremy Scott, and Joshua Burch. Honorary bearers will be Terry Elders, Terry Joe Thompson, and Jim Allen Thompson.
