Billy Willhite

Bill Willhite, 82, of Donna, TX, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010, in Edinburg, Texas. Bill was preceded in death by his wife Oleta. He is survived by three daughters: Sandra Warden Simmons of Virginia Beach, VA, Rhonda and Danny Vail of Vinita, OK and Glenda and Roger Ryals of Sanger, TX. He had four grandchildren: Amanda Osborn of Vinita; Steven Warden of Virginia Beach, VA, Matthew Vail of Vinita and Jessica Valencia of Mesquite, TX. He had six great grandchildren. Bill enjoyed his family, extensive traveling and his winter home in the Rio Grande Valley where he was an officer of the Texas State Shuffleboard Association and was very active in area activities. He was also inducted into the Texas Shuffleboard Hall Fame and the Rio Grande Valley Hall of Fame in 2010. Bill was a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite. Family visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel a memorial will be held on Friday October 22, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel with Pastor Clint Hall officiating.
