Blaine Snyder

Blaine B. Snyder: born March 9, 1932 passed Dec. 17, 2011 at the age of 79. Blaine was born in Winfield Kansas to Ralph & Omeda Snyder. He grew up in and around the Cedarvale and Sedan Ks. area, graduated from Cedarvale High then joined the Air Force. After he returned home he married and has 3 children working in the Tulsa and Bartlesville area. After a period of time he divorced and married Wilma Carnahan on Nov. 25, 1973 in Chautauqua Ks. and made their home in Independence Ks. with their blended family. He then worked in around Caney and the Independence Ks area till he retired. His love for his family, fishing and his dogs and the KC Chiefs shined though in his daily life. He is proceeded in death by his mother and father, his brother Lloyd Snyder this loving wife Wilma. His is survived by his 3 sons and 4 daughters, Steve Snyder and his wife Katie, David Blankenship, Robert Elder, Minnie (Lou) Farris, June Snyder, Jessica (Sue) Snyder, Geri Nolen and Charlene (Charli) Jackson, daughter-in-law; his brothers, Keith and his wife Rose Marie Snyder, Paul and his wife Meyrna Snyder; his sisters Jean Barger and Irene and her husband Gene Kennedy; as well as a host of grand and great grand children, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Olympus North Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
