Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261.Bobbie Glen Trout, 87 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 5, 2018 at Integris Grove Hospital. Bob was born on April 9, 1930 in Strang, Oklahoma. He was the son of Wyly and Nita Bell Trout. He attended Pryor high school for 3 ½ years, and graduated from Grove in 1947. Bob proudly served 2 years active duty in the United States Army earning the rank of Corporal. Bob attended two years of business school during his six years of serving in the Army reserves. Bob was united in marriage to Vera Shupert on June 4, 1950. They moved away from Grove several times, but always came back, because Grove was their home. Bob was a district manager for General Mills in New Orleans, LA. After returning from Louisiana , Bob owned & operated the Ben Franklin 5&10 store and the Mistletoe Express in Grove, OK. He served on the Grove City Council, and was the past President of the Grove Rotary Club. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grove where he served as a Teacher and Deacon. Bob's biggest achievement was being the Greatest Father and Grandfather Ever!! Bob will be reunited in heaven with his parents, his brother Clark Trout and sister Mary Belle Trout-Christensen. He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Vera Trout of the home, three daughters: Kimberly Ann Trout-Jones, Tracey Ann Trout-Quinn and Lesley Ann Trout-Macomber. Bob was blessed with 10 grandchildren; Bryan Jones, Jason Jones, Kristina Jones, Laura Jones, David R. Jones, Jeremy Jones, Delaney Quinn, Megan Trout-Consedine, Michael Macomber, & Brittany Macomber, and 17 great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 9, 2018 at Grove's First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Paslay and Brother James Wilder officiating. Bob will be laid to rest in Olympus Cemetery. Honoring Bob's life serving as casket bearers will be; Brett Quinn, David Jones, Joe Consedine, Bryan Jones, Michael Macomber, Jason Jones and Davey Jones.
