Bobby Shelby

Bobby Gene Shelby, 39 year old resident of Bernice, died late Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on February 18, 1973 in Vinita to Robert Lee Shelby and Sherry Ann (Miller) Preston. Bobby attended Vinita Schools and worked many different jobs in his life time. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, having barbeques, camping, riding motorcycles, cooking, canoeing, archery and being at the lake. The family includes; his mother, Sherry Preston and husband Bill of Bernice, three children, Madison, Sydney and Hunter Shelby; siblings Stephanie Asher and husband Jeremiah and Eric Preston; nephews, Ashton Warner, Jace Asher, Brennan Asher, Madison Bennett, and grandson Ryder; grandmother Illa Miller; and many other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held, Friday, December 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Stephen Decker. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
