Bobie Joan Renfro, 78, passed away in her Bartlesville, OK home on Saturday, March 28, 2009. She was born on March 17, 1931 in Hinton, OK and was the youngest daughter of the late Noah and Estelle Brogden. Bobie graduated from Adair High School in 1948 and married Jack Renfro on June 5, 1948, in Vinita, OK. Jack and Bobie have been Bartlesville residents since 1948. Bobie was a member of the Bartlesville First Wesleyan Church. She was an avid quilter and a member of the Missionary Quilter's Club at the First Wesleyan Church and the Jubilee Quilt Club. Bobie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed. Bobie was preceded in death by her sister and husband, Alma and Ray Gunter, Vinita, OK; brother/sister-in-law Harold and Leeta Renfro; sisters-in-law, Betty Renfro and Wilma Renfro. Bobie is survived by: Jack Renfro, her husband of 61 years; three daughters and sons-in-law: Teresa and Mike Collins, Vienna, VA; Jackie and Steve Engleman, Norman, OK; and Pam and Don Hudson, Bartlesville, OK; five grandchildren: Eric Emerson, Dallas, TX; Amber Emerson, Oklahoma City; Ryan Engleman and wife Jennifer, Norman, OK; Patrick Engleman, Norman, OK; and Hannah Manuelian, Bartlesville, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Harold Day, Andover, KS; sister-in-law and husband, Alberta and Dwight McKay, Bartlesville, OK; brothers-in-law and wives, Raymond and Verna Renfro, San Antonio, TX; Bill and Virginia Renfro, Navasota, TX; brother-in-law, Bob Renfro, Bartlesville, OK; and numerous other family and friends. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at the First Wesleyan Church, with Pastor Joe W. Colaw Officiating, followed by interment at 2 p.m., at the Big Cabin Oklahoma Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made in her name to the First Wesleyan Church, 1776 SE Silver Lake Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
