Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555....... Branden Starr Sunday, 26 year old Vinita resident, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015. Branden was born in Claremore on March 23, 1989. He graduated from Vinita High School in 2007. Branden was very proud of both his Cherokee and Mexican heritage. He was an easy going guy who always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads and rocks, hiking, drawing, and spending time with family and friends. Above all, music was his passion. He was an excellent guitar player and was in the Dirty 30 band. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Johnna Sunday who he was very close to. Survivors include his father Tim Sunday of Alabama, mother Wanda Neil and husband Jim of Indianapolis, IN, grandparents: Ronald Sunday of Vinita, Georgia Dickerson (Marlin) of Davidson, OK, and Ricky Savala of Nowata, siblings: Bradley Stacey of Bartlesville, Kyle Miller of Bartlesville, Selena Miller of South Coffeyville, OK, and Cheyenne Miller of Bartlesville, aunts and uncles: Pedro and Michelle Rodriguez of Grove, Ronnie and Sherill Sunday of Vinita, Shane and Kim Sunday of Vinita, Christopher Mullin of Oregon, IL, Angie Savala of Bartlesville, Michelle and Tony Canada of Coffeyville, KS, Ricky Mizer of Kansas City, MO, Jay and Roxy Bates of Coffeyville, KS, and Stanley and Lela Johnson of Independece, KS, special cousins Katelynn Sunday of LaSalle,CO, Alex Sunday, Krystian Giles, Gabriel and Vanessa Rodriguez, and Savana Brandley, as well as several other great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Vinita with Pastor Steve Holland officiating. Interment will follow at Round Springs Cemetery in Eucha.
