Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Brenda Lee Cochran, 51 year old resident of Rose, Oklahoma, passed away on August 23, 2018 after a lengthy illness.
Brenda was born on March 11, 1967 in Jay, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Levi Owen Tagg and Geneva Marie (Rabbit) Tagg. Brenda worked for Cobb Industries and was member of the Elm Prairie Baptist Church. Brenda enjoyed fishing and cooking out with the family. She enjoyed watching her children and grand children play football and basketball, and her nephew Marcus team-rope. Brenda liked to watch her favorite soap operas, "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and Beautiful". Her favorite shows were Big Brother and the Amazing Race. Brenda also enjoyed going to yard sales and playing slots on her I-pad.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Mark Tagg. She is survived by her husband Walker Cochran Jr., of the home, two sons: Isiah Cochran of Kenwood, OK, Emmitt Cochran of the home her daughter Hillary Cochran of Oaks, OK. Brenda will be dearly missed by her four brothers: Ronnie Tagg of Colcord, OK, Rodney Tagg and wife Alvina Osage of Kansas, OK, Mike Tagg of Kansas, OK, Larry Tagg and wife Belva of Miami, OK, two sisters: Nancy Qualls and husband Chad of Gentry, AR and Mamie Nava of Kenwood, OK. Brenda was blessed with four grandchildren: LaKota Walson Cochran, Aliza Nofire, Connor Budds and Hunter Corter.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Lowery Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Joe Christie and Reverend Jess Glass officiating. Brenda will be laid to rest in the Cochran Family Cemetery in Bullhollow, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.
