Brenda Darnell

Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555...... Brenda Kay Darnell, 56 year old Vinita resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 2, 2017. Brenda was welcomed into this world on March 19, 1960 to Garth and Joyce Baskin. On January 11, 1984 she was united in marriage to Larry Darnell and together they raised seven children. One of Brenda's favorite accomplishments was being able to raise and homeschool her children. Brenda was a wonderful woman full of joy and God's spirit. She loved people and had the ability to find the good in everything and in everyone. She was a great counselor, listener, and encourager, full of wisdom and strength. It was all of these gifts that led her to the mission field in Belize. At Emmanuel Church, Brenda served as a Kinder Church Teacher, Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, Prophetic Arts Instructor and was active in the SOZO healing ministry. Brenda was also a very talented painter and writer. She loved animals and the outdoors which made her the perfect rancher's wife. Her life journey touched the lives of individuals all over the world, she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Larry of the home, children: Jordan Polson and wife Erica of Vinita, Jed Darnell of Vinita, Pepper Greggs and husband James of Colorado, Holly Yanez and husband Juan Carlos of Tulsa, Israel Darnell and wife Brandi of Vinita, Luke Darnell and wife Jessica of Oklahoma City, and Gabe Darnell and wife Casey of Vinita, grandchildren: Joshua, Caitlyn, and Logan Polson, Tzion Greggs, and Ariel Darnell, and two brothers: Randy Baskin of Wichita Falls, TX and Kenny Baskin of Claremore. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Emmanuel Temple Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
