Brenda was born on November 16, 1955 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was the loving daughter of John and Glennie (Lakey) Ray. Brenda served as the Lawton City Clerk for over 30 years before she and her husband Harlan moved to the Grand Lake area. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and spending time outdoors. And Brenda dearly loved her precious grandbabies. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her Aunt Margaret Williams. She is survived by her husband Harlan William Smith of the home, her son Harlan G. Smith and his wife Theresa Smith of Grove, Oklahoma and her daughter Reanna Tovar and her husband Mike of Martinez, Georgia, and her grandchildren; Cody Fitzgerald, Harland Hunter Smith and wife Kimberly, Jennifer Fitzgerald, Melissa Tovar, and Kayla Ann Hall and her husband C.D., great grandchildren Rosalie Smith and Clary Hall. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Monday, April 30, 2018 at Olympus North Cemetery with Chaplain Mark Lavine officiating.
