Bruce Campbell, 85, of Nowata, passed away March 9, 2015 at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born December 24, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri to Mary Hazel (Larkin) and Leonard Bruce Campbell, Sr. Bruce graduated from Kiowa, Kansas High School and continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State College, Weatherford, Oklahoma where he earned his degree in Pharmacy. He married Connie Gwen Nelson on August 31, 1931 in Weatherford. They had two sons Roy Bruce Campbell and Scott Campbell. They made their home in Nowata where he owned and operated Nowata Pharmacy. Bruce enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, dancing, working puzzles and gardening. He was well known for the tomato's he raised. Bruce was really a multi-faceted man. He could do or fix almost everything. His wife Connie passed away in February 2002. On November 26, 2010, he married Jo Ellen Semrad in Branson, Missouri. Bruce loved Nowata Ironman Football and painted the N on the football field. He was a very loving and kind husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. Bruce is survived by his wife Jo Ellen of the home; two sons, Roy Bruce Campbell and his wife Jo of Nowata, Scott Campbell of Nowata; one grandson, Brett Austin Campbell and his wife Sophia of Edmond; two granddaughters, Sarah Campbell and Rebekah Campbell both of Raleigh, NC; one bonus son Darien Gray and his wife Barbara of Broken Arrow; a bonus daughter, Gretchen King and her husband Mark of Broken Arrow; two bonus grandchildren Natalie Gray and Kevin King.
