Carl Heard

Carl Douglas "Squirrel" Heard, 56 year old White Oak resident, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2009 at his sister's home in Vinita. He was born on November 28, 1952 to Violet (Williams) and Bennie Douglas Heard. HE enjoyed hunting and fishing, and playing pool. He also liked hanging out with his favorite cousin, Bud Heard. Squirrel is survived by his sister, Debbie Heard of Vinita, three brothers: Gary "Red" Heard of Tulsa, Dean Heard and wife Linda of Queen City, Missouri, and Jim Heard and wife Debbie of Vinita. Also surviving are nieces: Kim, Maggie, Vicki, and Misty, and nephews: Billy and Brandon, along with many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Jennie Leigh Heard. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Oak Cemetery with Rev. George Vaughn officiating.
