Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK....918-253-3222....Carl Joseph Reasor, Jr., passed away at his home in Jay, OK on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the age of 91. Carl was born on October 25, 1923 in Row, OK, near Colcord, the son of the late Carl Reasor, Sr. and Bessie (Hughes) Reasor. Carl lived in the Kenwood area attending grade school at the "Old Fairview School" and high school at Jay through the tenth grade. Carl married Zora Ann (Lowder) Moss and to this union five children were born. Carl served in the United States Army during WWII. During that time he served in Italy, Southern France, North Africa, and Germany and during this time he was given the WWII Victory Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the European-African Medal, the Middle Eastern Medal, and three Bronze Service Stars (Germany). After the service he went to work as a body repair man, making that a lifelong occupation, managing shops in Oregon, Texas, and Oklahoma, retiring in Jay. Carl loved music and loved to play the guitar and sing. At a young age, he started playing guitar and he had his own bands and played at various places. When in the service, he played and sang for the officers clubs. Carl passed the love of music and the guitar down to his children and grandchildren with both singing and playing. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Tobe Reasor; three sisters: Alice Dunham, Rosie Mitchell, and Betty Butler; one grandson David Carl Reasor, Jr.; and one great granddaughter Stencee Montgomery. He is survived by three sons and two daughters: Jo Ann McClary of Tulsa, OK, David Reasor of Jay, OK, Rodney Reasor of Keithley, OK, Rosalita "Turkey" Sloan and husband Larry of Eucha, OK, Jimmy Dale Reasor and wife Elaine of Flint Ridge, OK; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held at the Eucha Holiness Church in Eucha, OK on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2PM with Pastor Tim Lunsford, presiding. Burial will follow at Eucha Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6PM to 8PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK.
