Carol Graham

Carol Graham, resident of Grove, OK, passed away in Miami, OK, Monday, February 13, 2012 at the age of 75. Nancy was born on August 20, 1936 in Godley, TX to Charles Bradford Brown and Ann Walker Burke. In her teen years she moved to Wichita, KS. In 1968 she gave birth to her daughter Sherry Kratzke Hamilton. In 1977 she married Jim Graham in Reno, Nevada. Carol and Jim lived in the state of Oregon from 1977 to 1981. In Oregon she was able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings especially the flowers that she always had dear to her heart. In 1981 Carol moved to Grove, OK where she resided and made a house a home with her always positive love of life that brought others around her joy and laughter even if sometimes at her own expense. The smile she showed gave others the knowledge she was happy and enjoyed life. She had some struggles through the years but never shared it to the ones she loved only giving them the love and care she could bring them. Her occupation was part of what brought her joy. She was Co-owner of Samco Supply and RV Sales and Repair shop in Miami, OK for 29 years. She was the brains of the operation keeping the business running through the lean years of the economy. The customers had an affection for Carol that kept the regulars coming back to just see her. Her laugh was contagious; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Bradford Brown. Survivors include her husband Jim Graham of the home; daughter Sherry Kratzke Hamilton; one grandson Jakob Hamilton; two sons: Ron Graham and James Graham; mother Ann Walker Burke; Brother John Douglas Walker; and son-in-law Jeff Hamilton. A graveside service for Carol will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Olympus North Cemetery with Rev. Guy Morrow, officiating. The arrangements are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.
