CAROLINE ODESSA MILLER Caroline Odessa Miller, age 92, a resident of Bartlesville died Saturday March 10 2007 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. She was born August 13, 1914 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of James C. Carlton and Minnie E. (Neuwman) Carlton. She was reared and educated in Denver, Colorado, and Caney, Kansas. She and Elmer F. "Tug" Miller were united in marriage on June 17, 1934 in Caney, Kansas. In 1941 they moved to Howard, Kansas for several years, then in 1958 they moved to Bristow and on to Bartlesville in 1966. Caroline was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother and member of the Baptist Temple for over forty years and enjoyed working crosswords, cooking, baking and sewing. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Donnie and Donna Miller of Bartlesville, her daughter, Barbara A. Cole of Benton, PA, a daughter, Sue Rasmussen of Scottsdale, AZ, a daughter in law, Marilyn Miller of Wichita, KS, a sister and husband, Erna and Dan Studelska of Jackson, MN, one brother, Wyatt Carlton of Leroy, KS, eight grandchildren, Carla Calvert and husband John of Wichita, KS, Craig Miller of Wichita, Deborah Bennett and husband Alex of Bartlesville, Daniel Miller of Bartlesville, Heather Stokes of Bartlesville, Joseph Cole of Benton, PA, Tracy Cole of Benton, PA, Kimberly Rasmussen of San Diego, CA, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer in 1993, her eldest son Dale, her parents, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Baptist Temple with Rev. Daniel Tidwell officiating with interment to follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney KS under the direction of the Neekamp - Luginbuel Funeral Home.
