Carolyn Conwell

Carolyn Jane Conwell, 79, passed away following a long illness on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Bartlesville, OK, surrounded by family.

Known to all as “Carrie,” she loved her family, her pets, working in the yard, playing solitaire, reading her Bible, listening to sermons on the radio, watching “Gunsmoke” and “Perry Mason” on TV, Elvis, and the OU Sooners.

Born in Bartlesville, OK, on August 12, 1942, Carrie graduated high school in Cleveland, OK. She also attended Northern Oklahoma College and the University of Tulsa, and worked a number of years as an HR Specialist for Williams Pipeline in Tulsa before finishing her career handling emergency financial disbursements for FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security.

Carrie was preceded in death by parents Floyd and Reba Conwell, daughter Stacy Weirick, son Eric Hager, sister Beverly Schutte, brother Ronald Conwell, and granddaughter Alicia Patterson.

She is survived by her son, Ty Hager; her daughter, Rebecca Dunkle; her sisters, Shirley Standeford, Becky Eckes, and Greta Hall; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, at 2pm. Graveside services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest near her beloved parents and brother. To leave a condolence, visit www.honoringmemories.com.
