Carolyn Jackson

Carolyn Sue Jackson was born December 14, 1940 and passed from this world into the next on April 8, 2009. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Oscar Lewis and Mary Opal (Blevins) Lewis and two brothers, Jerry Lewis and Gary Lewis. She is survived by her husband Richard; five children, Carol McKinney and her husband Keenan, Rick Jackson, Rita Tucker and her husband Jim, Tim Jackson and his wife Tanya, Rob Jackson and his wife Cyndi all of Grove; three sisters, Sharon Kaye Dollarhide of Grove, Sandra Kaye Self of Jay, and Opal Irvina McCoy of Weatherford, OK; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and scores of loving family and friends. Everyone that met Carolyn loved and cared for her. Her house was always open and so was her kitchen. She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. She will be enormously missed. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2009 at Delaware Baptist Church south of Grove with Pastor Larry Jackson and Pastor Kenneth Cope officiating. Burial will follow in Zena Cemetery, Zena, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be David Wetzel, Jim Tucker, Rick Jackson, Chip Albert, Kevin Jackson, and Keenan McKinney. Honorary Pallbearers will be Henry Washburn, Stephen Cabral, Jeremiah Tucker, Ryan Jackson, Robbie Jackson, Calen Jackson, Dusty Phillips, and Tristan Burger.
